Act I

- Primo gets upset because no one is listening to him.
- Mom confronts the uncles, telling them, “What I want is for you to leave him alone and let him make up his own mind”.10
- Primo has a conversation with Rollie, who breaks down the situation and is described as “the Uncle we least expect”.11
- Primo makes the decision to apply to the program.12 The uncles show their support.13
